It can’t wash my Kadais and Pans.   Large interiors and the specially designed basket of IFB Dishwashers provides the flexibility of washing all cookware, including cookers, kadais and Pans.

Dirty water is circulated again and again in the Dishwasher and dishes are washed in the same water.   IFB dishwashers come with a unique super cleaning system. Even before the main wash begins, the entire left over food in the dishes are flushed out of the system through a high power jet spray. The main wash has 2 pre wash and 2 post wash rinses with fresh water to give you a clean wash.

Dishes should be wiped clean before loading in the dishwasher and hence manual involvement is unavoidable.   The IFB Dishwashers come to you fitted with three uniquely designed fitters of variable sizes and hence you need not clean the utensils before loading but you must remove big lumps of food items before placing the dishes in the dishwasher.

Dishwashing is not effective with Indian cooking.   The IFB Dishwashers have been designed in such a way that they give a unique combination of thermal, mechanical and chemical wash to the dishes and are fully capable of clearing any kind of grime and dirt.

Dishwashing can wash only Chinaware and crystal glasses, it is not good for steel.   In an IFB Dishwasher even old stainless steel dishes come out sparkling and look new. As the dishes are washed at 650C and are air dried, no watermarks are visible on the vessels.

Can I use the dishwasher to wash Caserol/plastic or pet vessels?   You can use these vessels however use programs like Quick wash, delicate wash or eco wash, which heat the water upto 50 degree Celsius as the plastic might not be able to withstand higher temperatures of other programs. If the plastic can withstand temperatures upto 70 degree Celsius you can use any wash program.

Can I wash non-stick/hard ionised vessels in the dishwasher?   You can wash these vessels.

How do I wash Indian vessels like Tawa/sticky kadhai/Pressure cooker/Milk vessel?   There are adjustable trays/shelves in which the above vessels can be placed facing the spray arms jets which will ensure the cleaning.

Can normal detergent/Liquid soap be used for the dishwasher?   Normal detergent/ liquid soap's efficiency will not be the same as AUTODISH (our recommended detergent). Avoid using normal detergents/ liquid soaps. AUTODISH is readily available and can be ordered from the call centre easily.

What is the special salt?   The salt is required to regenerate the resin (which reduces the hardness of water) to ensure that the utensils are spotless clean and there are no white spots on the utensils.

What are the the things required before installation(like permanent water tap is required for fully automatic W/M) & can I just leave outlay pipe in Kitchen sink?   A permanent water tap connection just like in an automatic washing machine and a water outlet connection which requires a min. height of 30cms from the ground are required.

Salt Indicator LED glowing, even after the salt is filled in the salt chamber?   For the first use only, pour a litre of water before putting salt in the salt box. Solubility of salt types (coarsed grain or powdered) and different brands in the market have wide range of variability, therefore the time for dissolving of salt in water takes different durations. The customer/service engineer should mix the salty water in the salt box with the help of a spoon and wait for some time, till the salt indicator led turns off. Attached is the servise bulletin put in the Manusoft, you may refer this document and deploy this information to the service team.

Superficial scratches / foggy appearance on the glass surface after washing ?   Make sure that the salt box cap is closed properly by the customer. Leakage of salty water to the washing cycle will damage the glasses. The expiry date of the powdered detergents is also important. If the powdered detergent is out of date, the particals of detergent get harder and may give harm to the glass surfaces. We recommend end users to use tablet type detergents. The regeneration setting of the DW must be appropriate to the water hardness level of the inlet water. Please, recheck if the regeneration setting is done correctly. Just after the customer has filled the salt box, and running the washing cycle, we recommend to make a prewash on NO LOAD, to get rid of the salt residuals in the tub. This will also prevent the inner tub from corrosion for the life performance. The glass type or quality is another important factor for scratches. There are special type of glasses which are durable for machine washing for 1000 cycles.
